SG Arrival Card for citizens of Sweden

Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) is a mandatory electronic travel document for all foreign visitors to Singapore, including Swedish passport holders.

The SGAC replaces the paper-based Disembarkation/ Embarkation Card that Swedish passengers used to fill out upon arrival in Singapore.

When do Swedish nationals need a Singapore Arrival Card?

All Swedish passport holders travelling to Singapore need to obtain a valid SGAC. They will be required to present it at the border crossing in Singapore, along with their passport and any other necessary documentation.

Note that most Swedish nationals are eligible for visa-free travel to Singapore for up to 90 days (3 months). Some Swedish passport holders, in particular individuals who wish to reside in Singapore and work or study in the country, must obtain a Singaporean visa.

Regardless of whether they need a visa or not, all travellers from Sweden must apply for a Singapore Arrival Card prior to their trip. Visitors who fail to obtain the SGAC may be refused entry in Singapore.

Do Swedish passport holders have to contact a Singaporean embassy before travelling?

In order to obtain a Singapore Arrival Card for Sweden, there is no need to contact a Singaporean embassy or consulate.
